Support Consultant
Job Title: Support Consultant
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day application and system support to ensure smooth business operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for user queries, incidents, and service requests.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to applications, data, or system functionality.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for future reference.
- Assist users with onboarding, system navigation, and best practices to improve adoption.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Participate in release support, UAT assistance, and post-deployment validation when required.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Support Consultant, Application Support Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of web applications and basic frontend/backend concepts.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or web-based systems is a plus.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and customer-focused approach.
